  Although stainless steel vacuum dough mixers generally exhibit stable performance, they can still undergo oxidation in corrosive environments. To maintain the elegant appearance and cleanliness of the stainless steel mixer’s surface, it is essential to periodically clean and maintain the stainless steel equipment over its long-term use. Therefore, regular cleaning and maintenance of food equipment surfaces are crucial to extend their service life.

  1. Be careful not to scratch the surface. Do not use rough or sharp materials to clean stainless steel surfaces—especially mirror-finish ones. Instead, use a softer, non-shedding cloth for cleaning. For brushed and hairline finishes, always wipe along the grain; otherwise, you’ll easily mar the surface.

  2. Avoid using detergents containing bleaching agents or abrasives, as well as steel wool and abrasive tools. To prevent residual detergent from corroding the stainless steel surface, be sure to rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water at the end of washing.

  3. For stainless steel surfaces with dust or easily removable dirt, you can use soap or a mild detergent for cleaning. For substances that are firmly adhered, use alcohol or an organic solvent (such as ether or benzene) to wipe them clean.

  4. For grease, oil, or lubricant contamination on stainless steel surfaces, wipe clean with a soft cloth. Afterwards, clean using a neutral detergent, an ammonia solution, or a specialized cleaning agent.

  5. If bleach or various acids have come into contact with the stainless steel surface, immediately rinse it off with water, then soak it in an ammonia solution or a neutral sodium bicarbonate solution, and finally wash it with a neutral detergent or warm water.

  6. The rainbow-like patterns on the stainless steel surface are caused by excessive use of detergents or oil. They can be removed by washing with a mild detergent in warm water.

  7. Rust caused by dirt on the stainless steel surface can be removed by washing with 10% nitric acid or a polishing detergent, or by using a specialized cleaning agent.
